Devin JSC encourages people to sort separately with a special message on the labels
The leader in the bottled water market in Bulgaria Devin EAD is placing a special logo on the labels of its brands DEVIN Spring and DEVIN Mineral to remind consumers about the separate collection of packaging after consumption. DEVIN bottles are 100% recyclable and, unlike most food, beverage and cosmetics packaging, do not require pre-washing before being disposed of in a container for plastics.
"Single-use plastic packaging has a lower carbon footprint than most alternatives. It is important to collect it separately and send it for recycling in the right container so that they do not remain in the environment. Through the labels of our products we will remind consumers about the responsible use of packaging. We want to inspire them to return the gesture to nature which gives us pure, natural water from the heart of the Rhodopes, and we squeeze and return its packaging to the right place after consumption. Our ambition is to encourage the separate collection of plastic bottles and make it a sustainable habit for our millions of consumers. We will encourage this responsible behavior not only through our products, but also with the support of many different campaigns and activities aimed at protection of nature and the environment under the communication platform "Let's return the gesture to nature", says Petya Manastirska, head of "Sustainable development and quality ”in Devin JSC.
Designed in the colors of the Ocean and the Earth, the new logo is reminiscent of both a bottle, an infinity sign and an hourglass. This trinity is a symbol to remind us of our individual responsibility and the possibility of rational use of natural resources. The company points out that the consumption of pure natural water is communicating with nature, and consumers can be nature’s modern heroes, making sure that the plastic is collected separately and recycled, instead of being left out there in the environment.
