Tymbark Bulgaria COVID-19 Donations
In the current state of emergency, the label "producer of beverages" gains a special meaning. Aside from not stopping work producing and delivering products to the big supermarkets and smaller local stores in accordance with the highest levels of safety, we at Tymbark Bulgaria do not forget the people who need the strongest support today – medical workers who fight tirelessly the COVID-19 pandemic and the people at risk – elderly citizens, orphans and those the lower incomes.
Therefore, over the past month of national quarantine in the country, Tymbark Bulgaria has donated mineral water worth BGN 20,000 to the COVID-19 Crisis Headquarters in Plovdiv. The donation was received personally by the Mayor of the city Mr. Zdravko Dimitrov and will be allocated to the needs of headquarters and local hospitals accordingly.
The company has also donated BGN 20,000 to Velingrad Hospital for the purchase of medical equipment: the CIAR system, which is an integral part of performing accurate examinations of pulmonary diseases, including Coronavirus. The donation was made with the assistance of the Mayor of Velingrad, Mr. Kostadin Koev, and the types and models of the medical equipment have been previously agreed upon and approved by Dr. Zheko Cheshmedzhiev, Chief Operating Manager of Velingrad Hospital.
Tymbark Bulgaria has made a special donation (juices, cappuccino chocolate and fruit water), totaling nearly BGN 10,000, to the municipality of Lovech, on the territory of which the company headquarters are located. The drinks are intended for the needs of the local Social Patronage, Family-Centered Accommodation Centers, Varbovka Home for Elderly Citizens and Slavek Protected Homes for Seniors.
