Assoc.Prof. Georgi Dzhatov
Assoc.Prof. Georgi Dzhatov was born in 1939 in Plovdiv.
He graduated from university in 1962, as a Technology Engineer in the qualification of "Fermentation Technology".
In 1962 he started working as a technologist in Zagorka Manifactury in Stara Zagora and remained there until 1966. In the period 1966 - 1987 he was Assistant and Assistant Professor at the Higher Institute of Food and Flavour Industries in Plovdiv (today University of Food Technology - Plovdiv).
In 1984 he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Science, and in 1987 became an Associate Professor.
Deputy CEO of "Bulgarian Beer" in the period 1983-1986. Deputy Chairman of the "Bulgarian Beer" in the field of Technology Policy and Industry Operational Management - 1986-1990 and Chairman of the Expert Council on capital works. From 1986 to 1999 he was the Director of the Institute of Brewing and Hop Industry.
Member of the Board of the Union of Food Industry since 2000, today Director of the "Food Processing Industry" magazine.
Georgi Dzhatov has published 31 scientific papers, has produced 7 papers at international scientific conferences and symposia. Owns 8 author's testimonials and 5 patents.
Co-author of the book "Intensification of Malt Production" - 1986.
He participated as a supervisor and contractor in the development of 22 research and experimental themes under the authority of Higher Institute of Food and Flavour Industries and Institute of Brewing and Hop Industry.
