Eng. Milcho Boshev
Eng. Milcho Boshev graduated from the Higher Institute of Food and Flavor Industries in 1968 as an engineer-technologist.
In 1989 he graduated with full honors the Higher School of Commerce "Prof. Tsenov" - Svishtov, specialty: Business Management. Then defends his thesis on "Risk Management under the terms of the company organization".
From 1982 to 1990 he was director of the Soft Drinks Factory, Plovdiv.
From 1990 to 1996 he was Chairman of the Texim 90.
In 1992 Eng. Milcho Boshev, together with Coca-Cola - Plovdiv Bottling Company Ltd., was one of the initiators of the of the first joint venture establishment in Bulgaria, and a Managing Director of the company from May 1992 to December 1995.
He was actively involved in the creation of the Bulgarian Soft Drinks Association as explored the experience of similar organizations, established in Central and Eastern Europe, including Greece, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and others.
On 20 December 1995, at a Constituent Assembly with the participation of 13 Bulgarian soft drinks producers, Eng. Mr. Milcho Boshev was elected as a Chairman of the Bulgarian Sofit Drinks Association, where he remained till May 2012. During this time he articipated actively in the process of adopting BSDA in the family of the Union of European Beverages Associations (UNESDA) in 1996 and the European Federation of Bottled Water (EFBW) in 2008.
Between 2002 and 2012, he was Chairman of the Union of Food Industry and a member of Board of Directors of BIA for eight years. In 2008 as a member of Boadr of Directors of the BCCI, he was elected as a Chairman of the Council of Branch Organizations at BCCI.
Eng. Milcho Boshev is one of the founders of the Bulgarian Association of Food and Drinks Industry. He was a member of the Board. In 1999 worked actively on the creation of the first Food Law and on the adoption of the first legislative documents in the implementation of legislation in the field of the beverage industry.
Long-term Chairman of BSDA, Eng. Milcho Boshev is the first honorary member of the branch organization, unanimously elected by the General Assembly in 2013, when this membership status was introduced. His involvement as a sectoral referral in the project "Development and Implementation of an Information System for Assessment of the Competences of the Workforce by Branches and Regions" and his personal contribution were recognized by the industry as a key guarantor of the benefits for the business and employees from MyCompetence information system.
The soft drinks industry is a pilot sector in the project and MyCompetence contains useful human resource management information, including information on core, managerial and specific competencies and 26 key positions in the industry.
The project is implemented by the Bulgarian Industrial Association - Bulgarian Business Union, with the financial support of the Operational Program "Human Resources Development" 2007-2013, co-financed by the European Social Fund and the Republic of Bulgaria under contract № BG051PO001-02.01.06.
Eng. Milcho Bosshev is the author of the book "More about the success of the company" and the monograph "Creating Coca-Cola Hellenic - a contribution to the development of the non-alcoholic industry in Bulgaria".
